Snow blankets the Mt. Hood Wilderness at Top Spur. Saplings and Alpine Evergreens bend from the weight of the snow that gathered heavy on their branches in the early morning. The sun warms the side of the mountain and snow melts rapidly, a welcome relief to the trees. Wispy clouds sail over its crown against a bright blue sky.
