Wild Flower Hill
The original oil painting, 18 x 24 entitled Wildflower Hill, was painted by Eryn Tehan, in January 2020. A bright blue sky on a hot summer day provides a beautiful contrast to the bright yellow super bloom of sunflowers at Seven Mile Hill in the Columbia River Gorge. The sun getting low in the sky, casts dramatic shadows on the hills, where an old oak tree stands tall, providing a shady refuge. A small, bubbling creek runs near its roots, hugging a curve on the hillside, and hidden by the bursts of tall flowers and bright purple lupine in the foreground.
